The Rule of the Contract: No Proof, No Progress

The most critical tenet of the Mark Economy is the Rule of the Contract. Under no circumstances will the Gatekeeper honor a verbal agreement for a Mark exchange, in particular because they are disposable.

• Documentation Required: Every single transaction must be accompanied by a completed Mark Exchange Invoice or a formal Contract of Privilege detailing the exact request.
• The Stipulation: If a student presents Mark Stickers without the required documentation, the Gatekeeper is authorized to retain the Marks, and no reward or item will be returned. The Marks are considered surrendered to the system, reinforcing the principle that attention to detail is its own currency.

Required Mark Exchange Invoice Fields

The following details must be explicitly documented and signed before the Gatekeeper will process any Mark redemption:

1. DWELLER ID (Name/Guild): The individual or Guild making the redemption.
2. MARKS SPENT: The exact number of Gatekeeper Marks being relinquished.
3. PRIVILEGE SOUGHT: The specific reward being unlocked (e.g., “Scholar’s Test”, “Level 2 Card”).
4. DATE OF TRANSACTION: The moment the contract is formalized.
5. GATEKEEPER CONFIRMATION: Signature required upon processing.
